Abu Jayed Rahi, born on August 2, 1993, in Sylhet, is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who has made a name for his swing bowling in both red and white-ball formats. Sporting jersey number 8, he made his Test debut in 2018 and ODI debut in 2019. Rahi is one of the few Bangladeshi pacers known for his ability to swing the ball both ways. He grabbed attention during the 2019 Ireland tri-series and earned a surprise call-up to the 2019 World Cup squad, despite limited ODI experience.
