About Daniel Sams
Daniel Sams is an explosive all-rounder and left-arm fast-medium bowler known for his power-hitting and versatility in T20 cricket. Born on October 27, 1992, in Milperra, New South Wales, Sams burst into the spotlight through the Big Bash League (BBL) and made his T20I debut for Australia in 2020.

As a batsman, Sams has shown remarkable hitting ability in the lower middle order. His clean striking and fearless approach have won games for Sydney Thunder and other T20 franchises around the world, including the Delhi Capitals in the IPL and Essex in county cricket.
Though he has yet to secure a regular place in Australia’s national squad, Sams continues to be in the selectors’ radar due to his utility as a T20 all-rounder. Off the field, he is recognized for his work ethic and humble demeanor.
