Taskin Ahmed, born on April 3, 1995, in Dhaka, is one of Bangladesh’s premier fast bowlers known for his pace, aggression, and athleticism. Wearing jersey number 3, Taskin has emerged as a key figure in Bangladesh's bowling attack, especially in ODIs and T20Is, providing much-needed firepower and energy. Taskin made his ODI debut in 2014 against India and made an immediate impact with a five-wicket haul, becoming the first Bangladeshi to achieve this feat on debut.
