Womeju Wotu, jersey number 27, is one of the exciting young pacers emerging from Vanuatu’s cricketing ranks. A right-arm fast bowler, Wotu combines raw pace with an aggressive bowling style that unsettles even experienced batters. Though still early in his career, he is already turning heads with his natural ability. Wotu’s strength lies in his athletic build and explosive run-up, allowing him to generate bounce on even slower pitches. He often bowls with the new ball and has taken early wickets against regional sides, including Fiji and the Philippines. His control is still developing, but his potential is immense, and he is being groomed for a long-term role in the team’s pace attack.
